The auction pricing site worthguide.com seems to have gone. Does anyone know what has happened to it, thanks.

They and another left the scene about 4 months ago. Worth?? gimme a break. Do you really think you can use online auction prices from mostly non-pro's to get an estimated value. Nope, not realistic and most collectibles value depends on a grade, and 1 out of 30 know how to really grade specific items.. and then 5% only care and the 95% do not know nor care.
Internent auction prices are and always have been out of the real world and into cyberspace. Deal with amateurs and you get what you deserve. Dont ya just love these auctions with scans showing 15% of the actual size and many useless non-descriptions and hogwash by the ton.
Over 90% of real hard nosed collectors do NOT actively participate in online auctions.. that in itself speaks volumes.

the figures are a bit off, it should be 90% do not know nor care and 5% like kyocera, who may not know but do care and want to learn.
I'd suggest a google search to learn more about the item in question, and ebay completed search. That might help. You may not be able to determine "worth", but you should be able to get a "ballpark" figure of what the widgets sells for.

Sorry but if you want a "ballpark" price for any item...you need to go to ebay and check the "closed" auctions...check their descriptions to verify quality etc. (as best you can, depending on the item..obviously I would not trust all that is there)...but it is better than nothing!!
