Until this week I was virtually off-line since last Spring--owing to my father's illness and eventual death last August. Last week I felt perhaps it was time to try to do something a bit fun without a lot of social interaction--which I didn't feel quite ready for--so I thought I'd do some shopping on eBay. My Paypal account was at 0 so I tried to "fund" my account from my X.com checking account. I put in the request from Paypal on October 3rd at 00:25:19 and as of today--October 10th--the money still hasn't arrived at my Paypal account. In the meantime I have had some luck and won a couple of auctions that I would like to pay with my Paypal account--but can't--because my balance there is still 0 with the transfer still "pending." How much longer will it be before my money arrives. I don't remember it taking so long in the past--but I've been away a long time so perhaps things have changed. I'd like to let my sellers know when to expect payment to be beamed.
ACH transfers take 5-7 business days to complete when adding funds from your bank account. I would expect it to clear in today or tomorrow (there was also a bank holiday in between).
