I recently synchronized my SMPro 7.0.2, build 1382. Now I cannot save my batch items. When I enter save, a WARNING window appears, with no details in the window. When closing the window, the New Batch Listing page is open, indicating "Fields with red titles are required (Shipping Information). I use USPS Priority mail with a fixed ammount(saved in my vendio ebay site specifics- for all my previous listings). --so the fields are correctly filled in, per ebay current guidelines. When backing out the information and re filling in the amounts, it still will not save. I did two other tests. 1. I filled in another item which was just launced a few days ago--using the previous settings--and it did the same thing. 2. I also used aother computer with another version of SMPRo. Unfortunately it synchronized with the vendio server and now acts the same way (version 7.0.2 build1379). None of this happened until I had synchronized my vendio smpro program yesterday. I even removed the windows updates that were installed yesterday to no avail. I'm using a pc/with vista home premium. By the way, I set the properties of the program to run as windows xp service pack2--and that changed nothing. I have used vendio for YEARS, mostly without any problems. Help!

UPDATE. I also completely uninstalled smpro, rebooted the computer, and downloaded a fresh smpro program. This fresh download version acts the same way, and will not save batch items. It gets stuck on shipping information, and will not recognize the correctly filled infields. What can I do?? besides launch some listings manually on the ebay site?

Hello,

Within one of the errored items in Sales Manager Pro, please go to the "eBay Site Information" tab and click the "Payment Instructions & Details" button. Then let us know whether it is selected to "I used fixed shipping rates" or "I use calculated shipping rates". Also, please confirm that you have entered a fixed shipping rate in the domestic section of the listing, and if you have entered a shipping rate into the international section, let us know if it is fixed or calculated.

Thanks for the reply. under the Ebay Site Information Tab, Payment Inst. & Details,
"I use fixed shipping rates" is selected. This is domestic only. I did not select international section.

I did some experimenting. If I open the Ebay Site Information Tab, and then close it--without changing anything, I can save a batch item, and it will upload. If the Ebay Site Information Tab is not opened then the batch item will error and not save.

I was able to launch 3 items a few minutes ago by opening and closing the Ebay Site Information Tab.

I also tried the same procedure on my laptop--the smpro behaved the same way. It would save only if I opened the ebay site information tab and closed it.

I have never had to do this before, it is a new behavior of the vendio sm pro program.

I made a change to your online preferences, which might correct the problem. Please try synchronizing Sales Manager Pro, and let us know whether or not you continue to get the same results.

That worked. I tested it and the batch item saved and uploaded properly.

Was one of my settings incorrect?

Hello Thomas,

Your default for international shipping was set to calculated, and I changed it to fixed. Even though you weren't offering any international shipping, it looks like the calculated setting for international was causing a problem (when only fixed shipping was being offered in the listing).

The online website allows you to specify fixed for domestic shipping and calculated for international shipping, but Sales Manager Pro will only allow one or the other to be used in a listing (either both fixed or both calculated). When you were opening and closing the "Payment Instructions & Details" it was resetting both domestic and international shipping to be the same (fixed). By changing your online preferences, I made it so that this change is now a default.
