I have recently been experiencing this problem with paypal. It seems to be more frequently since they started doing their own WBN's. I don't know if it's a coincedence or not. I am not getting the usual emails from paypal saying "XXXX has just sent you money with paypal". People pay paypal and I have no way of knowing it. It happens maybe once a day, which makes it a big pain to try to go into my account and see if I have sent merchandise to people, or if it's new, and heaven forbid the people don't include the auction title because that makes the process even longer and more tedious. Is anyone else having this problem? I tried emailing paypal to see if it's a problem with my email address or something (they haven't responded), but I still get maybe 3 or 4 emails a day from people who have paid - some just slip through the cracks. Anyone have a clue????
Make sure your account PROFILE is set to receive notices.
In addition, email is not a perfect platform and can have errors when payments are sent. Emails is a notification item (does not impact the transaction) that can be impacted by problems on the receiving ISP/email provider's end. I would also check with the email provider to be sure that they don't have filters set that could view it as spam.
