Can you add a savings account as your bank account with PayPal or does it have to be a checking account?

Hi paintpower,

Yes, savings accounts can be added. I would check with your bank about their acceptance of ACH transfers (some institutions are picky about this).

I checked with my bank and they said it was okay for ACH transfers into savings but not checking so I added my savings account to my PayPal account.

How long after you add the account does it take for the PayPal transfers to show up that I need to complete the process? I can check my account online but as of right now they have not shown up.
