Hi all,
Some users had inquired about getting a logo for donations (auctions, web sites,etc). Here it is...
<!-- Begin PayPal Logo -->
<a href="http://www.paypal.com/cgi-bin/webscr?cmd=p/gen/relief-outside" target="_new"><img src="http://www.paypal.com/images/flag-donate.gif" alt="America Stands United: Click here to give to the American Red Cross Disaster Relief Fund using PayPal." border=0></a>
<!-- End PayPal Logo -->
Dear PayPal Seller,
First, a quick note of thanks to the more than 50,000 members of the PayPal community who have donated to the National Disaster Relief Fund of the American Red Cross through the PayPal website. The community has already raised over $1.8 million! Officials from the Red Cross have asked us to express their great appreciation for your generosity, and they've cited our fundraising efforts on their website.
Many of you have contacted us to ask if there was some way you could participate in this charity drive. In fact, we've noticed that some concerned sellers have already inserted links to our donations page on their auctions and websites to encourage their buyers to make online donations.
In response to your enthusiasm, we wanted to provide our members with an easy and effective way to join us in collecting disaster relief donations. If you wish to participate, feel free to copy and paste the HTML code for this banner onto your website, homepage, or HTML emails:
<!-- Begin PayPal Logo -->
<a href="http://www.paypal.com/cgi-bin/webscr?cmd=p/gen/relief-outside" target="_new"><img src="http://www.paypal.com/images/flag-donate.gif" alt="America Stands United: Click here to give to the American Red Cross Disaster Relief Fund using PayPal." border=0></a>
<!-- End PayPal Logo -->
Also, if you sell on eBay™, please consider encouraging your bidders and buyers to make an online donation; 100% of the proceeds go to help the victims of the terrible attacks on September 11th. PayPal realizes no profits from money donated to this fund.
While our "America Stands United" logo is not currently allowed by eBay's advertising policy, we're in the process of requesting an exemption for it and we'll let you know if eBay approves it for placement in their auctions. We'll post an entry on the "Policy Updates" log on your PayPal Account Overview page if anything changes.
In the meantime, PayPal-preferring eBay sellers can still choose to include a link to our Relief Donations page in their email signatures and end-of-auction notifications. Here's an example of language you could choose to use for your email notices:
AMERICA STANDS UNITED! Click on this link to make an online contribution to the American Red Cross Disaster Relief Fund. I gave, and you can too! http://www.paypal.com/cgi-bin/webscr?cmd=p/gen/relief-outside
Thank you once again for both your personal generosity as well as your eagerness to help the victims in New York and Washington. Working together, we can make a difference while showing the world that we're united in our support of freedom.

The really good thing about the PP-BP rivalry is the fact that PayPal has really taken the HIGH ROAD during this whole AFA fiasco!
Once again, it appears PP is trying to go straight & be a better business partner for us all!
I fo one (hardly a cheerleader) salute the recent PayPal endeavors!
Now, if they can handle the double-dipping... (HEE!HEE!)

I'll find it very disturbing if eBay doesn't allow that image and link. Please keep us updated.
