Is anyone else as irritated as I am about the short, non-configurable timeout period for login on Paypal? Maybe it's just me, but the 5 minute (or whatever) timout is much too short.
By the time I go back and forth between AMPro, emails, finding an auction item, etc. Paypal has timed out and I get to log in again. I suggested to Paypal that they lengthen that time to 15 minutes or half and hour and got the runaround. Or they could have user preferences and allow us users to set the timeout - within bounds.

if you promise to drop a daisy cutter on anyone who dares to access your account while you are running back and forth.

My machine is within 10 feet of my MBR and is accessible to no one except my wife, so the daisycutter would be less effective than one might imagine. Besides, allowing users to configure a reasonable timeout like 15 minutes is not a big loss of security.
Along with all the other irritations of the bait-and-switch champions of the world (aka Paypal), it'd be nice to see them respond positively to us users who pays da bills after all.
