I really got a kick out of some the posts I read here that have defended paypal. I joined paypal a very long time ago and enjoyed their payment service. I mostly used it to pay for things. Periodically I would run across people bad mouthing paypal after their accounts were frozen. I did not even give this a grain of thought as I assumed these were people that were ripping others off or scamming them in some way. Boy was I wrong about that. My account now has been frozen and they tell me, maybe, I will get my money back in 6 months. Why I asked. First they told me I was promting a pryamid scheme. Then they told me I had complaints against me. None of this was true and they will not provide me with any evidence to justify their actions. They don't have to, they say, it's all in the user agreement. What a bunch of BS. I have not taken one dime through paypal from anyone. I used it to buy things not sell things. They know this but still say I am frauding people. I have no recourse whatsoever and they know it. I have found out that Paypal is a foreign company, not a bank, and not regulated by US laws, banking or otherwise. I understand that ebay is in the process of buying them out but it has not been finalized yet. Man, something is wrong here. Is paypal freezing innocent peoples accounts to pad their balance sheet? Will ebay assume the responsibility of returning our money? Is paypal ripping off ebay I wonder, or what. One thing I know for sure. I will never use paypal again and if ebay buys them out and doesn't return my money immediately I will never use ebay again either. Are these people just getting too damn big for their britches? The bigger you are the harder you fall. There are many people out there that have lost a lot more money than I did with paypal. I have even talked on the phone to many of these people and their stories are sad ones to say the least. Paypal is the biggest rip off artist on the internet today, barr none. These people should all be put in jail. Any of you out there that think as I was did that paypal is cool and OK, think again before they lock your account and even withdraw money from your linked bank account, as they continue to do to others. Try http://www.paypalsucks.com/ and http://www.PayPalWarning.com , go there and read the horor stories. Do not ever think it can't happen to you because it can and is to 100's of honest people everyday.

You're right about everything except Paypal being a foreign company. They are incorporated in Delaware. Unless you found out something I haven't. If you did let me know. Because their in the US, they will go to jail sooner or later. Yes they lie through their teeth. Good example is they said they we're complying with the law and the credit card regs. BS I got this in the mail today----

I think PP farms out some CS telephone rep jobs to India or BF Egypt or some such places like that & maybe that's where he got the idea that PP is foreign??
