I have been reading the information about Paypal and your chats and wonder if Paypal is right for me.
I have been trying to complete the international business registration form but it automatically spits out I have submitted a wrong phone number. I kept trying and solved this somehow: (my sisterīs phone in Va.)
I really do not understand how I shall collect my money if I ever get listed to sell Moroccan rugs and fossils.
Paypal says they work in many European countries- then I see there are only about 4 countries where they will transfer funds. How are they working in the other countries?
I finally found an email for them after many hours of digging and am waiting for an answer. Perhaps this avenue will be helpful.
I am in Spain using Spanish banks.

We currently only offer bank account functionality to certain countries, but we are working to get this capability extended as quickly as we can.
Spain is not currently one of the countries, but users are welcome to try and get a US bank account (a list of banks can be found at www.fdic.gov) to withdraw funds. Having a bank account attached is a requirement for international customers because there would be no other withdrawal mechanism available to them until bank account addition is available in their country.
International users can still make payments off of their credit card (for sending money to someone.)
